Meet the Doctors

Dr. Lawrence T. Fox is a highly skilled dentist who can perform the dental procedures you need to give you the smile you’ve always dreamed about. Dr. Fox is an elite dentist in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, general dentistry, restorative dentistry, and laser dentistry. He and his staff at Fox Family Dentistry want to serve your family in Burke, VA, and the surrounding areas of Annandale, Springfield, and Fairfax for years to come!

Dr. Fox is a native of Los Angeles, California, and received his undergraduate degree in biology from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. After graduating from BYU, he served three years as a Marine Corps officer at Cherry Point, North Carolina. From there he attended dental school at Georgetown University in Washington DC, where he graduated in 1981. After a four-year stint as a Naval Dental Officer, Dr. Fox set up shop in 1985 here in Burke, VA, where he’s remained ever since.

Dr. Fox wholeheartedly believes in maintaining active memberships in numerous professional organizations. He is involved in organizations such as the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the District of Columbia Dental Society, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Northern Virginia Implant Study Club, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the Seattle Study Club, and the World Clinical Laser Institute. All of these things that Dr. Fox lends his time to is to make your experience at Fox Family Dentistry more pleasurable.

Dr. Fox is also a family man who has raised his children in the Burke, VA, community. He and his wife, Cheri, have five children, Larry, Brett, Laura, Jennifer, and Erik, and they are grandparents to 15 grandchildren. The Fox family loves their community, and that is why they have been active in local sports, school, and church functions. For years, Dr. Fox has spent part of his free time coaching and managing youth basketball and baseball teams, which he has been doing since 1985!

All of the above-mentioned things make Dr. Fox more than qualified to be your family’s dentist. He loves his family and his profession, and it shows in the dedication that he displays in both. Though he is not a native of Burke, VA, he certainly feels like it is home to him after living here for over 30 years and raising his family in Burke’s wonderful community. Dr. Erik Fox was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and raised in Burke and Clifton, Virginia. After high school, Dr. Fox went to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Poland. Upon his return from the mission, he married his wife, Nichole Jewkes, whom he met in high school. They have three children, Lucy, Neilson, and Lawrence.

Dr. Fox studied biology at Brigham Young University and attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. Dr. Erik has found great satisfaction in practicing dentistry. He loves the hands-on element of dentistry and helping others attain a healthy beautiful smile, especially those with financial needs.

Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Erik loves being a husband and father. He enjoys sports, music, reading books of all genres, and serving at his local church.

Dr. Hale’s focus on patient-centered care is paramount to the dental services she provides. Her compassion, desire to listen to her patients’ needs and concerns, and her ability to develop a personalized dental plan ensures each patient is comfortable and receives the highest quality care.

A suburban Philadelphia native, Dr. Hale received her undergraduate degree from Boston College where she was also a scholarship student athlete on their NCAA Division I Women’s Varsity Lacrosse team and captained her senior year. Following graduation, Dr. Hale worked at New York University College of Dentistry where she became the Director of Global Outreach Programs as a result of developing a department that implemented clinical programs to provide care to underserved areas throughout the world. This experience truly influenced Dr. Hale and inspired her to become a dentist.

Dr. Hale went on to receive her dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry. While there, she was selected to be a member of their Honors Special Patient Care Program where she utilized both her skills as a clinician and her ability to meet a patient at their comfort level in order to provide quality dental care to individuals with complex medical and dental needs. She was also chosen to be a Teacher's Assistant in the College’s prosthodontics pre-clinical laboratory and received numerous academic and teaching awards for her proficiency in prosthodontics, including dentures, crowns, bridges, and implants.

Upon graduation, Dr. Hale relocated to Northern Virginia in order to complete her General Practice Residency at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC and she has remained in the area to continue practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in private practice.

When Dr. Hale is not practicing dentistry, she spends time with her husband and their three children. She also enjoys traveling, fishing, scuba diving, and exploring nature.

Meet Dr. Lina Park
General Dentist, Fox Family Dentistry

Dr. Lina was born in South Korea and raised in Burke, VA. She is fluent in Korean and English, and brings a unique cultural perspective to her practice. She graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Tech with a degree in biology before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth

University School of Dentistry. During her time in school, she was recognized and awarded for her exceptional hand skills and was selected as a Teaching Assistant in the dental anatomy course.

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for the artistic aspects of dentistry, Dr. Lina is always striving to provide the highest-quality smiles for each patient.

Dr. Lina emphasizes comfort, compassion, and patient autonomy for every patient in her care. She believes in creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels heard and respected. Through her warm smile and gentle touch, Dr. Lina ensures that her patients receive the personalized care they deserve.

An active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Virginia Dental Association, Dr. Lina is dedicated to staying up to date in her field through continuing education courses and professional development.
Outside of the office, Dr. Lina enjoys unwinding by watching movies and Netflix, hitting the gym, and listening to music. She is a foodie, and loves to explore coffee shops to try out different brews – she loves a good cup of coffee!

Meet Dr. Paiyaum Bibizadeh
General Dentist – Fox Family Dentistry, Springfield

Dr. Paiyaum Bibizadeh was born and raised in Annandale, Virginia. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech in 2015 and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019. He later completed a general dentistry residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, where he gained extensive experience managing both routine and complex cases.

At Fox Family Dentistry in Springfield, Dr. Bibizadeh is known for his calm and caring chairside manner. He’s passionate about delivering high-quality, comprehensive care while making patients feel comfortable and at ease. Whether it’s a routine exam or a more advanced treatment, Dr. Bibizadeh’s goal is always the same: to help every patient leave with a healthier smile and greater confidence.

Dr. Bibizadeh is fluent in English and Farsi and is proud to serve patients from diverse backgrounds. He is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to welcoming you to our Fox Family Dentistry family.
