Providers Focused on Compassionate Care

Many patients express distaste for dentistry, which is why our newly renovated Springfield office was designed to look and feel like a home, not a dental practice.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted like we’re welcoming you for dinner! Simple conversations begin each appointment with intentional questions that open a safe dialogue for discussing your dental and even your life concerns. Our goal is to facilitate patient-guided treatment in tandem with our elite, ethical, and patient-centered treatment team.

You will leave feeling understood and supported. No matter what brings you in today, at Fox Family Dentistry, you’ll always be met with patience and kindness.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

Most patients start with annual or establishing assessments, cleaning, and a comprehensive exam.

Full Mouth Series Radiographs
!
"

Determine your anatomic baseline and evaluate the health of your entire dentition. This is the most comprehensive radiographic assessment we provide, ensuring we have your baseline established and diagnose any possible pathology.

Panoramic Radiograph
!
"

Establish your anatomical basis and evaluate the health of your overall mouth, jaw, and TMJ. While some pathology can be detected on a panoramic radiograph, the purpose is to assess for larger pathology, the establishment of third molars, or wisdom teeth, and for submission with some dental claims.

Both the panoramic radiograph and the FMX are used as a comparison tool for possible progression of pathology or as a reference point if new treatment needs arise.

Periodontal Charting
!
"

Establish your baseline periodontal health. In conjunction with radiographs, a periodontal chart is used to provide the dental hygiene diagnosis. This annual assessment will help our hygienists know which type of cleaning fits your needs.

Oral Cancer Screening
!
"

Done at each visit. Dentists are the first line of defense in catching early indications of oral cancer. This screening is essential for the early detection and treatment of possible oral cancer.

Your hygienists will thoroughly clean your teeth
!
"

Using gentle and thorough hands while providing any relevant oral hygiene education, catering to your teeth, and any challenges you have at home when performing your home care routine.

A cleaning is not always guaranteed if you and your hygienist determine you need a specialized cleaning to get you back on track.

One of our compassionate doctors will do a comprehensive examination
!
"

One of our compassionate doctors will do a comprehensive examination of your oral health and provide a treatment plan tailored to your goals and preferred care level.

Do you want to know every option for the best prognosis for your teeth? We can do that! Would you rather only hear about any emergent needs and leave the rest? We can do that too! You’re the boss.

Any agreed treatment needs will be scheduled
!
"

Any agreed treatment needs will be scheduled with our fabulous administrative team, who will find an appointment convenient to your busy life, and explain any treatment costs associated.

Answers To Common Questions

Do you accept new patients at both locations?
!
"
Yes. We welcome new patients at both our Springfield and Burke offices. You can choose whichever location feels closer or more convenient for your routine. If you’re unsure where to go, just call, and we’ll help you schedule at the best spot for your needs.
What should I bring to my appointment?
!
"
Bring your ID, any insurance information you have, and a list of medications if you take any. If you don’t have insurance, that’s okay — we’ll walk you through our in-house plan and any other payment options that might help.
How do payments and insurance work?
!
"

We’re in network with most dental PPO insurance plans. We help you understand your benefits before scheduling treatment. If you don’t have insurance, we offer an in-house plan that includes preventive care, exams, radiographs, and 30% off treatment. We’re always upfront about costs and happy to answer questions.

Can I choose which dentist I see?
!
"
Yes. If you prefer to see a specific doctor or hygienist, just let us know when you schedule. Many of our patients build long-term relationships with the same provider, and we do our best to keep that continuity whenever possible.
What languages does your team speak?
!
"

We have a diverse team, and many patients appreciate that. You’ll find team members who speak English, Spanish, Polish, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Tagalog, and Korean. If you prefer a certain language, just tell us when you schedule. We want you to feel understood and comfortable from the moment you arrive.

Do you see children and teens?
!
"
Yes. We welcome patients of all ages at both locations. Many families bring their children here because the environment is calm, patient, and easy to adjust to. We take extra time with kids and check in often to make sure they feel safe.
